The top three, in descending order: chef Bryce Shuman's Betony, the "year's most polarizing restaurant" Carbone, and the newly-four-starred Sushi Nakazawa, where "a meal at Mr. Nakazawa's counter is a guided tour of the potential of simple seafood on rice to amaze."
