Empire builder Danny Meyer appeared on CBS This Morning to talk about the usual: the keys to great hospitality (making people feel at home), what makes a restaurant an institution, and Gramercy Tavern's 20th anniversary. But Meyer also reveals the advice he doles out to folks who hire him as a business consultant, and yes, it ties back in to the idea of hospitality. "Whoever you are, whatever business you're running, we've all been commoditized," Meyer says. "The internet has made it so that what we do really really well, as soon as the word gets out that we do it well, somebody's going to copy it." What's un-copyable?
