Chef Owen Clark has unexpectedly left his post at Brooklyn's buzzy Gwynnett St. and tells Eater NY: "The association with international drug trafficking, federal informing, and recent financial troubles all made the restaurant unworkable for me." Owner Carl McCoy was recently arrested on drug charges for allegedly receiving packages of synthetic methylone at the restaurant (which he denies). The restaurant is now closed for a nine-day break.
