Inside Baffo, Eataly Chicago's Fine Dining Restaurant

While Mario Batali and Joe Bastianich's 63,000-square-foot Eataly Chicago opened its doors to the public at the beginning of December, their stand alone restaurant Baffo just opened yesterday. Eater Chicago takes a look inside and, as expected, finds a 65-seat white tablecloth restaurant with a "traditional fine dining atmoshpere." The restaurant is set apart from Eataly Chicago, connected only by a back staircase. The "upscale" menu is overseen by chef Eli Anderson and features dishes like pig foot milanese, porcini rub ribeye. and squid ink fettuccini with lobster and salami. The restaurant also serves a tasting menu.
