Pizza Hut and Nobu Top Google's Most-Searched Lists

Google has released its annual "zeitgeist" roundup, and apparently people are just crazy about Pizza Hut and Nobu. Google's Zeitgeist 2013 reflects the most searched terms of the year in a given category, presenting the "search topics with the largest search volume." On the "food companies" category (read: chains), Pizza Hut topped the list, beating out pizza competitor Domino's, as well as Starbucks, McDonald's, and Jimmy Johns, which all made the top five.

In the restaurant category, things were heavily weighted towards New York City restaurants, though Nobu — with 22 locations worldwide — landed on top. Rounding out the top five were NYC's the NoMad, Gramercy Tavern, Bouley, and mas (farmhouse). Check out the full lists below:
