Falafel-topped pizza is a thing that exists: NYC food blog Chopsticks + Marrow spots this unorthodox slice at a Queens restaurant delightfully named Benjy's Kosher Pizza Dairy Restaurant & Sushi Bar. Blogger Joe DiStefano writes that the plain slice — "gilded" with six falafel balls — is "messy, salty, nutty, crunchy, cheesy, and spicy... It's the type of dish that could only happen in Queens."
