Get excited, Harry Potter fans, because Universal is bringing the Leaky Cauldron to life at The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. Inside the Magic attended a press event in which Universal announced plans for a massive Diagon Alley-themed expansion to Wizarding World, including the fictional tavern.
The Leaky Cauldron — which the Harry Potter wiki describes as "a gateway between the non-wizarding world and Diagon Alley" — is slated to open with the rest of the new Diagon Alley in Summer 2014. On the food front, little is confirmed beyond the fact that there will be "authentic meals."
Presumably the pub's signature draft butterbeer will be available, as it's already served at the Three Broomsticks pub in the theme park.
