Welcome to the photo series Eater Scenes, in which Eater photographers visit some of the country's great restaurants to capture them at a certain, and very specific, point in the day. Here now, Daniel Krieger at last night's Push Project dinner with Alex Stupak and Grant Achatz in New York City.[Photos: Daniel Krieger]
Last night Alinea chef Grant Achatz joined chef Alex Stupak at his New York City restaurant Empellón Cocina for the fourth in a series of collaborative dinners called the Push Project. At the long-anticipated dinner, Stupak and Achatz worked together along to create a menu that included dishes like "Kabocha Cornucopia" and "Wishbone." Stupak and Achatz will be preparing another dinner together tonight, and according to the Empellón blog, there might still be tickets available. The menu tonight will be entirely different and will be a "spontaneous" menu. Below, photos from Grant Achatz and Alex Stupak's Push Project dinner. Do keep an eye out for food writer Francis Lam and Empellón pastry chef Lauren Resler.
