After learning today that legendary Chicago chef Charlie Trotter has passed away at the age of 54, the food community has shared its memories and condolences over Twitter and Facebook. In Chicago, Grant Achatz and Nick Kokonas' restaurant Alinea writes that "His impact on Chicago dining will long be remembered," while Graham Elliot tweets: "CHARLIE TROTTER: chef, mentor, trailblazer, philosopher, artist, teacher, leader.
