Quince's Anniversary Dinners; More PushIV at Empellon

SAN FRANCISCO— SF's two-Michelin-starred Quince will celebrate its 10th anniversary in December with a seriously star-studded lineup of guest chef dinners. Sean Brock, Nancy Silverton, Jonathan Waxman, and April Bloomfield are among the chefs who will collaborate with chef/owner Michael Tusk during the 10-day celebration. And Eater SF hears a rumor that Alice Waters may stop by Bloomfield's closeout dinner on the 10th. More information here. [Eater SF]

NEW YORK CITY— Chefs Grant Achatz and Alex Stupak will extend their collaborative PushIV Project to one more night — this Friday, November 2 — at Empellon Cocina. Stupak writes on the official Empellon blog that the new dinner will not feature the same theme as the preceding evening's long-planned dinner: Instead, expect a "spontaneous menu" from the duo, planned immediately after Thursday's event. Reservations are available here. [EaterWire]
