The UK's two-Michelin-starred chef, Simon Rogan, of L'Enclume will be the new chef at London's Claridge's hotel. The previous restaurant in that space was Gordon Ramsay at Claridge's (it shuttered back in June after Ramsay lost the contract). Said Rogan: "I think it was very important that a British chef followed Gordon Ramsay. I had been yearning for it – whether it was me or someone else – that such an iconic British hotel should have a chef in place that is a beacon for British excellence." No name yet for the new restaurant. [Caterer and Hotelkeeper, previously]
