No-Shows

The second-annual Taste MTL — Montreal's version of Restaurant Week — got off to rough start for some restaurateurs. The same day that a Montreal-Gazette piece criticizing restaurant no-shows went live online, restaurant Edward Zaki Tweeted that there were 12 no-shows for tables booked through Taste MTL (and that was for just the first seating). Zaki punctuated his Tweet with a photo of the mostly empty restaurant. [Eater Montreal]
