A former employee filed a lawsuit against Underbelly and The Pass & Provisions in Houston alleging "tortious interference, defamation, and intentional infliction of emotional distress." The former employee claimed that the work environment at chef Chris Shepherd's Underbelly was "rampant with disparaging comments about women and/or remarks laden with sexual innuendo" and "fostered an environment of perverse behavior, sexist remarks, and hostility to women." Representatives from the restaurants denied the allegations. [Houstonia via Eater Houston][Photo: Julie Soefer/Flickr]
