The New York Times brings this profile of Louis Gritsipis, the proprietor of Midtown diner 42nd Street Pizza Corporation, who once refused a $10 million offer from a developer interested in his Greek diner. Gritsipis has been in the building since 1965 (purchasing it outright in 1980), long before the surrounding neighborhood became desirable for developers building multimillion dollar apartments. "Even if they give me $1 billion, I will not sell," Gritsipis says. "Where am I going to go?" [NYT] [Photo: TripAdvisor]
