Now, thanks to New York City club Libation, the party need not stop just because you're hungry for eggs and bloody marys. The club is now throwing a periodic EDM (electronic dance music) brunch, for the glowsticks and mimosas crowd. And while that may sound like something SNL's retired city correspondent Stefon might dream up, it appears to be real. According to the Wall Street Journal, EDM brunch lasts seven and a half hours, and features breakfast burritos, fruit plates, and a guy in an LED suit who shoots "cooling streams of carbon dioxide" at crowds of people. Good morning.

So who goes to EDM Brunch? Probably the same people who go to New York club Marquee for their office worker lunch hour dance party. Also, a group of friends celebrating a 21st birthday and some guy who told the WSJ his occupation is "partying" who listens to dance music in the morning because he "can't even open my eyes unless I feel pulsating bass in my face." Pulsating bass and a bloody mary or two.

EDM not your thing? Libation also throws reggae brunches occasionally, for a more jammin' crowd. Both brunches certainly give new meaning to the Breakfast Club.
