Watch a Flash Mob Surprise Rick Bayless on His Birthday

Celebrated chef Rick Bayless celebrated his 60th birthday last night, and part of the surprise was a flash mob song-and-dance routine choreographed by Scott Dummler, Bayless' collaborator on Mexico: One Plate at a Time. During the middle of dinner service, Bayless is called into the dining room, where strategically placed performers launch into "Aquarius" and other selections from Hair (Bayless is apparently a fan of the musical theater). There's much singing and tambourining, and then the most proficient, harmonizing rendition of "Happy Birthday" ever. Go, watch:
