Barbara Lynch's Chef Gala; Fried Chicken Now at Husk

BOSTON— Chef Barbara Lynch draws an all-star lineup for two fundraising events in February, the Relais & Chateaux Grand Chef Gala and the Toques & Tonic tasting event. For the Chef Gala, scheduled for February 6, Lynch will cook up a five-course dinner with the likes of Daniel Boulud, Gary Danko, and Michael Tusk (of SF's Quince). The following evening, Toques & Tonic features bites by folks like David Chang, Suzanne Goin, Paul Kahan, and Jamie Bissonnette (just to name a few). Both events benefit the Barbara Lynch Foundation, with tickets on sale Friday, November 29. More information here. [EaterWire]

CHARLESTON— In what he described on Twitter as a "test run," Sean Brock offered exactly 20 orders of his much-publicized, much-anticipated fried chicken at Charleston's Husk this evening. Previously, the chicken was only available at Husk's Nashville location. [Eater Charleston]

NEW ORLEANS— The beloved Oak Street Po Boy Festival fetes in New Orleans this weekend, so Eater NOLA brings this handy guide to the Po Boy Festival guides. More importantly, it also names the 10 po'boys not to be missed, including some made with porchetta, duck, and fried lobster. [Eater NOLA]
