Watch Clips from the Dangerous Grounds Season Premiere

After announcing that Dangerous Grounds would be renewed for a second season, Travel Channel has released clips from the season premiere. A press release explains that the premiere finds La Colombe Torrefaction CEO and co-founder Todd Carmichael in Mexico, trying his best to retain chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten as a client by tracking "a rumored wine-like coffee."

In the clips below, Carmichael meets with Vongerichten at ABC Cocina and learns the chef wants coffee grown as close to the USA as possible. Carmichael heads to Mexico, where he gets into a bit of trouble with some gunmen but finds excellent coffee. Dangerous Grounds season two will premiere on January 28, with future episodes including trips to India, Nepal, Tanzania, Thailand, and Uganda. Go, watch these clips:
