The 2014 Michelin guide for Chicago dropped today, and though chef Grant Achatz's restaurant Alinea retains its three stars, co-owner Nick Kokonas Tweets his disappointment that cocktail bar The Aviary received no recognition: "I'm totally feeling snubbed by Michelin today. I'm speaking of course about @AviaryCocktail. No Bib [Gourmand], no star." Elsewhere, Kokonas Tweeted: "I'm gunning for Aviary to get a star. We've got a pretty serious chef there." Maybe next year?
