A middle school football team's party at Hooters went off without a hitch this weekend, despite media attention that resulted in the coach being fired. Fifteen players from Corbett Middle School attended the party at the Portland-area Hooters, which picked up the tab and donated $1,000 to the school's sports program. Said former coach Randy Burbach of the negative attention: "I'll take it. I don't care, but the kids and the community are showing what we're about." [OregonLive; previously] [Photo: Flickr]
