Over the Eaterwire comes news that New York City chef/ex-Top Cheftestapant Dale Talde has signed a deal to write a cookbook for Grand Central. Co-written with JJ Goode (you may know him from April Bloomfield and Andy Ricker's cookbooks), Asian American: A Cookbook will focus on his Brooklyn restaurant Talde and will "feature the restaurant's bold, brash Asian flavors and trademark Americana spin." The publisher notes that the book is not Asian fusion, rather "it's Asian-American and it's a reflection of the way people are eating today." Look for the book sometime in 2015.
