At a recent "Taste Talk" at the San Francisco Cooking School, chefs Laurence Jossel (Nopa), Evan Rich (Rich Table), Cortney Burns (Bar Tartine), and Joyce Goldstein discussed the area's ingredient-driven ethos, its roots in the hippie movement, and whether or not all started with Chez Panisse.
