Bolivia's Tambo Food Fest; Boston's Pumpkinfest

LA PAZ, BOLIVIA— The second-annual Tambo culinary festival will celebrate the cuisine of Bolivia from October 16 to 20 in La Paz's Parque Urbano Centra. Chefs Rodolfo Guzmán (Chile's borage), Virgilio Martinez (Central), and Mauricio Acuña will be among the exhibitors on-hand to talk about the biodiversity of Bolivian food. More information here. BOSTON— Meanwhile, in Cambridge, a celebration of another sort: The annual Tommy Doyle's Pumpkinfest is set for October 9, featuring 13 different pumpkin beers on draft, all from New England breweries.
