New, 3 comments

CHICAGO— Season ticket-holders at Next get the first crack at a preview dinner inside Grant Achatz and Nick Kokonas' private-dining space, simply dubbed The Room. For a room rental charge of $4,430, chef Andrew Brochu will cook a 10-course preview dinner (featuring dishes like antelope tartare and "Southern grits" with white truffles) for up to 10 guests. NEW YORK CITY— Chef Joshua Skenes (of SF's two-Michelin-starred Saison) will visit the kitchen of Matthew Lightner's two-starred Atera during a collaborative dinner on November 18. Reservations are $500, and the menu — featuring "signature" dishes by both chefs — will be influenced by a similar dinner Skenes and Lightner served at Saison earlier this year. [Eater NY]

NEW ORLEANS— Chef John Besh has been tapped to consult on concessions at the New Orleans Arena. According to Eater NOLA, Besh will consult on a menu revamp featuring made-to-order tacos and burritos, charcuterie boards, and "loaded waffle fries." [Eater NOLA]
