In New York City, lower Manhattan restaurants are already feeling the impact of the government shutdown, with significantly fewer customers. Says one pizzeria owner: "It's very slow. About 30 to 40 percent slower ... If this goes on like this another month, who's going to pay my $10,000 in rent?" [NYP]
