Here's a totally bizarre interview with Heart Attack Grill founder Jon Basso, who wears a white doctor's coat and a stethoscope for the occasion. The Las Vegas restaurant owner calls his food "horrible for your health," and says he is "unapologetically telling you that my food is bad for you, that it will kill you, and that you should stay away from it." Things go from weird to surreal when Basso whips out a bag that he claims holds the cremated remains of a patron who died of a heart attack in his restaurant.
This isn't the first headline-grabbing incident related to the gimmicky restaurant, which is home to the 9,982-calorie Quadruple Bypass Burger. The Heart Attack Grill has seen women collapse and men suffer actual heart attacks while dining at the restaurant. Two spokespersons for the restaurant have died: one man died in February of this year and another two years ago at the age of 29. Below is the very dark interview with Basso. Go, watch:
