AUSTIN— More than 65,000 music fans are expected to converge onto Austin for the 2013 Austin City Limits festival, and if you're one of them, Eater Austin has compiled a foolproof dining schedule that'll cover lunch, snacks, booze, and dinner for all three days. [Eater ATX]
PROVIDENCE— The Catbird Seat chef Erik Anderson heads north for a one-off dinner at Providence, RI's Birch on Sunday, October 20. (It's the first in a recurring series of chefs dinners cooked up by Birch's Benjamin Sukle.) A handful of reservations remain for the five-course dinner (not including promised "snacks and surprises"); tickets are $115, with a portion of proceeds benefiting the March of Dimes. [EaterWire]
GREENWICH— The 2013 Greenwich Wine and Food Festival officially kicks off tonight, and though the kick-off gala and tomorrow's "Grand Tasting" are sold out, tickets still remain for Saturday's "Culinary Village" — the one-day event features chef demos by the likes of Graham Elliot, Richard Blais, Francois Payard, and Sara Moulton.
