Last weekend's 2013 Barbot fundraiser in San Francisco had robot bartenders. Barbot, started by the Robotics Society of America, promotes "technology, education, and mathematics through the vehicle of robotics events." Alex Rose, co-founder of RSA partner Inertia Labs said, "One day, I saw a paint shaker in a hardware store and thought, 'huh, nobody's done a martini shaker robot.'" [Gizmodo]
