South Beach Wine & Food Tix; Saxon + Parole in Moscow

SOUTH BEACH— Tickets are now on sale for the 2014 South Beach Wine & Food Festival, scheduled for February 20 to 23. Events are available a la carte, and for the big spenders, larger-ticket items include a "Wonderful Weekend" package and a $1,500 "Ocean Liner Dinner" featuring Anthony Bourdain, Andrew Carmellini, Eric Ripert, and Daniel Boulud (among others). But there's also a lot to eat for under $250, including several dinners (with the likes of Jean-Georges Vongerichten, Marc Forgione, and April Bloomfield), and a karaoke bash hosted by Masaharu Morimoto. MOSCOW— Chef Brad Farmerie's beloved NYC restaurant/cocktail bar Saxon + Parole has debuted its outpost in Moscow, Russia. NEW ORLEANS— The boozy merry-makers at Tales of the Cocktail will get in the holiday spirit with its Tales of the Toddy event, scheduled for December 19. The event, which raises funds for the United States Bartenders Guild, will feature bartending teams of five competing in holiday-themed booze showdowns, in categories like toddies, nogs, and ciders.
