Fake Wine Wire

Romanee-Conti.jpgFrance has asked for the extradition of two Italian men arrested for selling at least 400 bottles of "swill" as Romanee-Conti, one of the most expensive wines in the world at some $12,000 per bottle. Roughly 2 million euro ($2.76M US) in counterfeit wine has been sold. The Burgundy vineyard tipped off authorities after suspecting bottles had fake labels. [AP]
