The star of the A&E show Duck Dynasty is opening a restaurant in West Monroe, Louisiana called Willie's Duck Diner. The News Star reports that the duck call manufacturer Willie Robertson hosted a media preview of his restaurant last night, and that the restaurant will open tomorrow. Robertson isn't the first reality star to extend his brand reach by opening a restaurant. Last month, Richard Rawlings of Discovery Channel's Fast N' Loud opened his very own Texas roadhouse: Like Robertson, Rawlings tied the theme and concept of the restaurant to his show.
In the video below, Robertson explains that "Oh yeah, there's duck on the menu" at the diner. Along with duck gumbo and fried duck strips, the restaurant menu will feature comfort foods like meatloaf and chicken-fried steak. Below, Robertson discusses Willie's Duck Diner:
