Cuozzo on Phony Reviews

New, 1 comment

Yelp-150.jpgNew York Post critic Steve Cuozzo files a piece on the ease of spotting phony reviews on sites like Yelp (where some 16% of reviews may be fake). On the value of user-generated reviews: "Most anonymous online 'reviews' — whether over-the-top favorable or savagely harsh — are rubbish even when they're real. Diners with an IQ greater than that of seaweed know it." [NYP]
