Cupcakes, Disliked

cupcake100.jpgMatt Seaton, Guardian op-ed editor in the US, sets his troll-phaser on "stun" and targets cupcakes. Boldly declaring that he's "sick of cupcakes," he writes that they're "butter-iced snares of self-loathing that sell precisely because they exploit young women's insecurity about their looks and identity." They're also "gooey, sickly-sweet embodiment of female wish-fulfilment." [Guardian]
