SF Pizzeria Installs Web Cam to Monitor Its Wait Time

A popular pizzeria in San Francisco's Mission District has installed an online live-camera focused on its wait list so potential guests can plan their visits accordingly. Pizzeria Delfina — which notes that it only seats complete parties — launched its "WaitCast" camera yesterday, and a look at this afternoon's live feed reveals the flow of service as parties get seated (lots of parties for two, today) and several people playing with their smartphones.

The feed can be watched online or via the Dropcam smartphone app. According to ISSF, Pizzeria Delfina plans to install a similar camera at its California Street location next week.
