New York Times critic Pete Wells awards one star each to Marc Forgione and Soulayphet Schwader's Laotian-inspired Khe-Yo and to Andy Ricker's Whiskey Soda Lounge Ny. Wells says the two restaurants join "a busy crowd of kitchens turning New Yorkers on to Asian dishes that we might have treated with extreme caution not long ago." [NYT]
