Michelin season in America is in full swing, and today the guide has announced the Bib Gourmands for San Francisco. There are 83 restaurants on the list of restaurants with "quality food at a good value" in San Francisco, up from 70 last year. There are 22 types of cuisine representded across the region which includes San Francisco, East Bay, Wine Country, Marin, South Bay, and the Peninsula. The Michelin Guide to San Francisco will be released next week.
New additions to the Bib Gourmand list include Evvia, Izakaya Yuzuki, Mason Pacific, and Sir and Star. Five restaurants have lost their Bib Gourmand: Kabab & Curry's, K & L Bistro, Le Cham, Betelnut, and Bar Bambino. Bar Bambino closed at the end of 2012, and Betelnut went through concept changes this year. Below, the full list:
