Pizza Wire

Italian-ish pizza chain Sbarro is opening a new fast-casual restaurant concept this week in Columbus, Ohio. Called Pizza Cucinova, it will offer "hand crafted, wood fired" pizzas that are, according to its website, "artisanal" "without the slightest pretense." There will be craft beer and the trendy "roasted red and yellow beets." The plan is to open another in Columbus and one in Cincinnati in early 2014. [Newsday]
