Thomas Keller on Lady Chefs

tkeller150media.jpgHere's Thomas Keller's response to a question about why there aren't more female chefs: "Women have different agendas. I have a pastry chef who is 100 per cent committed, but she has also told me that in a couple of years she wants to have children. That's going to move her out of the restaurant, and it's always questionable if they want to come back, because your life changes and your priorities change when you have children."
