Over at the Price Hike, critic Ryan Sutton talks to chef Corey Lee (of the two-Michelin star restaurant Benu in San Francisco) about a recent increase on the tasting menu by $15 to $195. On dropping the a la carte menu and going tasting menu-only: "When I first opened Benu, I had intended for it to be a more casual restaurant and I thought the a la carte menu would be what most guested opted for. But it was obvious from day one that people saw Benu as a destination, special occasion restaurant." [TPH]
