Last night, celebrated French chef Michel Richard debuted his "splashy" new restaurant, Villard Michel Richard, in the New York Palace Hotel. Eater NY reports that the restaurant (in the space once home to Le Cirque 2000), mashes up the building's old Baroque details with modern updates, like neon-lit artwork and a "wall of holographic portraits behind the bar."
