NYC's Lopate and Locavores; Joe Beef's Throwback

NEW YORK CITY— WNYC's Leonard Lopate hosts his fourth-annual "culinary conversation" series, Lopate and Locavores, starting October 15. Chefs like Eddie Huang, Ed Schoenfeld, and Bill Telepan are among those who will stop by to offer their expertise in topics like "Opening a Restaurant in NYC" — each event will be followed by a cooking demonstration by a featured chef. MONTREALJoe Beef's duo Dave McMillan and Fred Morin will head back to their old stomping grounds, Montreal's Restaurant Globe, for a one-off dinner celebrating the spot's 20th anniversary.
