Trademarks

slaters500150.jpgCalifornia chainlet Slater's 50/50 is unhappy with the concessions stands at Detroit's Comerica Park, saying the park's recently unleashed "50/50 Burger" — made of half ground bacon, half ground chuck — infringes on their trademark. Slater's, which also serves a half bacon/burger hybrid on its menu, has requested that Delaware North Sportservice concessions stop serving its version. Delaware North says it'll stop using the 50/50 name but still plans to continue serving the bacon-y burger. [HuffPo]
