In an interview with Food Republic, The Spotted Pig's Ken Friedman finally weighs in on the Gordon Ramsay trademark application fiasco. Apparently Ramsay apologized to The Spotted Pig team and promised to give the name back, explaining that "people who work for him are very aggressive" and wanted to reserve "every single gastropubby name they could." Friedman adds, "He's probably a jerk, but he wasn't a jerk in this regard." [Food Republic]
