Taco Bell Threatens Nation With Cool Ranch Doritos Locos Tacos

Well, this was truly inevitable: a Cool Ranch Doritos Locos Taco is almost definitely headed America's way in 2013. On the heels of the raging success of Taco Bell's Doritos Locos Taco — the company's best-selling new product ever with over 200 million sold — the company dropped a pretty strong hint on Twitter last night that a Cool Ranch variety was in the works. Juxtaposing a photograph of a Cool Ranch chip bag with one of a taco, the mega-chain wrote cryptically, "Anything could happen in #2013."

And, indeed, it looks as though anything will happen in 2013. Business First reported last month that Taco Bell CEO Greg Creed told investors that it's not just going to be the Cool Ranch taco, but also a Flamas Doritos Locos taco that will be rolled out sometime this year. More specifically, "he expects Cool Ranch to be introduced in the first half of 2013, while Flamas will be introduced in the latter half." Time to lose your minds, America.
