David Chang's new PBS show The Mind of a Chef uses some pretty neat visual effects for each episode, and now the design team shares a behind-the-scenes look at how the magic happens. So, remember that jar of kimchi buried in a "kimchi ant farm" in the totally insane Kimchi Party cooking demo? Zero Point Zero's Adam Lupsha and Christian Mazza explain how they shot that in time lapse for a couple of weeks to achieve the effect. They also reveal their approach to shooting a time-lapse of a rotting banana, and it looks pretty damn cool.
