Despite earning some harsh negative reviews, the two-hour premiere of Anthony Bourdain and Nigella Lawson's TV show The Taste earned okay ratings, reports From The Inside Box. Meanwhile, a press release boasts that the show "opened a strong #1 from 8-10pm among Adults 18-49, beating original comedy programming on Fox by 38% and NBC by 47%." Earlier today Bourdain tweeted, "I guess somebody watched!"
But did they enjoy it? Television critic James Poniewozik has decided The Taste is "at least seems [worth] keeping an eye on so far." Decide for yourself: you can now watch the full episode online.
