Last night on the Colbert Report, Stephen Colbert addressed the recent attack on Subway's "Footlong" which has been found to measure only eleven inches. Colbert calls the incident a "corporate scamwich" and notes that the President has been "strangely silent" on the issue. "We have been five dollar foot-wronged," he declares. "Twelve inches is twelve inches — I know it's cold out, but that's no excuse." Colbert describes the discrepancy as "an enormous breach of trust" and praises a related article by the New York Post, calling its authors "The Woodward and Bernstein of Oscar and Mayer." Go watch.
