Tips Creep Upward

tipping-creeps-upward.jpgCould a future of 30 percent tips lie in wait? The New York Post reports that it's no longer so laughable to face a suggested gratuity of 25 to 30 percent after a meal. Indeed, the future might be now, according to a study by Cornell professor of consumer behavior Michael Lynn which reveals that a third of customers, "left a tip greater than 20 percent, suggesting that the journey northward from that standard is already in progress."
