After much speculation and Padma-shushing, today Bravo not only confirms that Season 10 of Top Chef will take place in Seattle, but they have also unveiled this season's lineup of contestants. The list of bios reveals 21 chefs — including Dallas' John Tesar — and a bunch of non-restaurant chefs such as Harlem dietician Gina Keatley. A press release notes that this time around the "competition goes back to the basics, with culinary challenges that require a mastery of the primary skills of a chef."
As always, Padma Lakshmi will return as host while Tom Colicchio, Gail Simmons, Hugh Acheson, Emeril Lagasse and newcomer Wolfgang Puck will serve as this season's judges when Season 10 premieres on November 7.
