The 2012 Creative Arts Emmy Awards were this weekend (the Primetime Emmys are this coming Sunday), and No Reservations, Jamie Oliver, and Top Chef all lost in their respective categories.
Anthony Bourdain's No Reservations had four nominations and lost in every category (Outstanding Picture Editing For Nonfiction Programming, Outstanding Cinematography For Nonfiction Programming, Outstanding Nonfiction Series, and Outstanding Writing For Nonfiction Programming). And Jamie Oliver's show Jamie Oliver's Food Revolution was nominated for "Outstanding Reality Program" but lost to Undercover Boss.
In addition, Top Chef lost in the "Outstanding Cinematography For Reality Programming" and "Outstanding Picture Editing For Reality Programming" categories. But there's still hope: Top Chef is nominated for "Outstanding Reality - Competition Program" which gets announced on Sunday. Go team Padma.
